To Block or not to Block

I can crank out these knit tams in a couple of days if I'm in the groove.

This is tam A and it fits a bit more like a beanie.

Blocking is when I wet down the fibers, squeeze out the excess and pin into the desired shape. In this case, I would stretch it over a dinner plate and let it dry resulting in a tam/beret-like shape.

Hmm, decisions, decisions.

The colors are more suited for a girl or woman imo. What style so you think a female would prefer? Tam or beanie?
