I can't remember when I started these handwarmers but it was probably last year. It had to be in the cooler weather since I can't imagine I would be crazy enough to knit them in the summer. Of course I started my YEAR OF THE SOCK so everything else has been shoved to the back of the to-do list. I came across my poor unfinished handwarmers and decided to finish these up.
Believe me, it wasn't easy knitting in 90 * weather but I managed. :)
I used a self striping sock yarn and they are lovely. I do enjoy the cooler weather but I can save these for Christmas gifting. I guess I can look on this project as preparing for winter. :)
