The last few months have been spent having Joshua evaluated for autism which has been like a roller coaster ride. One place did various tests and determined that Joshua has developmental and language delays but is not autistic and we were referred to Launch in Torrance. Launch performed their own tests and they agreed with the delayed speech & development but said Josh has autistic like behaviors. That was a big blow to me but we rallied together to deal with this. Joshua will start the Launch preschool with speech therapy and occupational therapy tomorrow. The team assigned for Joshua already have goals prepared for the whole year and they are broken down into smaller goals. He has school for 3 hours every day, 5 days a week which I think will be a great opportunity for Joshua. So I need to get all the forms ready and get his backpack ready.
